General Tolerance Class Comparator (ISO 2768-1)
Enter one nominal dimension from your drawing and see what each general tolerance class allows, in millimetres and converted inches. Use it to decide which class to write in the title block before you send an enquiry, rather than discovering the difference at incoming inspection.
Results appear here.
Values are the permissible deviations for linear dimensions in ISO 2768-1. Inch figures are converted from the standard, which is published in millimetres. Broken edges, chamfer heights and angular dimensions use separate tables in the same standard. General geometrical specifications are no longer covered here: ISO 2768-2 was withdrawn in 2021 and ISO 22081 replaced it, so those must be stated on the drawing.
