Geometry and tolerance

A general tolerance, with only functional dimensions flagged tighter Datum scheme, and which features must share one setup Reference temperature for acceptance, and who applies correctionMost often missing. Acrylic moves roughly six times more than steel per degree. Whether the part is measured free or clamped

Finish

Which faces and edges are optical, and the viewing directionAn as-machined acrylic face is never optically clear. Clarity is a quoted operation. Polish allowance stated on polished features Whether stress-relief annealing is authorisedThick sections plus tight tolerances usually need it. Nobody quotes it unless asked. Cleaning or disinfection regime the part will meet in service

Scoring weights reflect how much each item changes the price or the acceptance decision on a PMMA part, not how hard it is to write down. Reference temperature, optical face definition and inspection scope carry the most weight because they are the three most often left out and the three most expensive to resolve after the fact.
