Checklist items
Part number and controlled drawing revision
Keep the same identifiers through RFQ, quotation and order.
3D model and 2D acceptance drawing
A model carries geometry; the drawing carries acceptance callouts.
Exact material, product form and condition
State grade, starting form and heat-treatment or hardness requirement.
Dimensions, datums and geometric controls
Use a defined geometrical-tolerancing language such as ISO 1101 when applicable.
Surface texture, edge and cleanliness callouts
Name the parameter, limit and evaluation rule where the surface is functional.
Service-condition notes
Include operating medium, temperature, pressure, corrosion, wear and duty-cycle context.
Inspection characteristics and methods
Identify critical points, method, sampling basis and acceptance stage.
Requested record names and identity fields
State which dimensional or material records must match part, revision, lot or heat identifiers.
Batch quantity and forecast
Provide both the immediate order and expected repeat demand.
Packaging, labels, destination and requested date
Define protection and delivery inputs before comparing quotations.
